The Colorado Writing Project empowers teacher writers and writing teachers to engage and inspire students to be lifelong writers. Using a research-based writing workshop, CWP brings joy to the teaching and learning of writing.

Sarah Zerwin Publishes First Book

CWP Teacher/Consultant Sarah Zerwin’s book, Point-Less, hit the bookstores in late March. In Point-Less Sarah shares her story of moving from traditional grading to assessment focusing on student learning. The research tells us grading often gets in the way of learning. Sarah shows us just how we can navigate an assessment system that helps us make our students better readers and writers and thinkers. Point-Less is published by Heinemann (www.heinemann.com).
